The Beauty Lab Box ($89/mo) sends you physical product samples — unbranded, factory-direct formulas you can test, apply, and evaluate. The consultation service ($149–$349) provides expert knowledge — our formulation scientists and production specialists advise you on custom formulas, production planning, ingredient compliance, and brand strategy. Many clients use both: the box to test formulas hands-on, and consultations to plan their manufacturing run. Both are separate paid services.
Our consultations involve dedicated time from senior formulation scientists and production managers who share proprietary knowledge, industry pricing data, and customized recommendations. Once that expertise is delivered, it cannot be "returned." We've implemented this policy after experiencing cases where clients received full consultations — including detailed formula recommendations and cost breakdowns — then reversed their payments. We value our clients and our expertise equally. Payment is collected before the session via Stripe, and all fees are final once the consultation has been delivered.
Consultations are non-refundable once delivered because the value — expert knowledge and proprietary insights — has already been transferred. If for any reason the session cannot be held (scheduling conflict on our end, technical issues), we will reschedule at no charge or issue a full refund. If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled session, we offer a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for refund.
